The key to seeing results in any training method is to mix up the workout. Muscle memory helps your body adapt to exercise and eventually instead of training, the muscles are just going through a process. A great way to mix up your training session is by the induction of the Reduxx Trimsuit, which is a weighted vest designed to assist with resistance training.

Your body has its peaks and no matter how many kickboxing sessions or sprints you run, you’ll start to see diminishing results. Adding a weighted suit to any type of workout will instantly wake up the muscles, and make them work harder. The great thing about adding weighted training to your cardio exercise is that when you again approach those peaks, you can simply increase the amount of pounds in the suit.

Using The Suit In Everyday Tasks

The suit is designed with comfort in mind. This convenient approach makes it easier for a person to carry on with everyday chores such as cleaning the house or going for a walk with the children. The great thing is that even though you’re just doing normal things, the body is getting a workout underneath. When you initially start wearing the suit, your tasks are considerably harder. This enables your body to burn calories as the task takes more effort to achieve. If you don the suit religiously, you’ll eventually start to build muscles in your legs and back and you’ll notice a diminishing waistline. Also, by wearing a resistance training suit around the house or at work, you’re also building up endurance and won’t be out of breath doing simple tasks.

Is The Suit Noticeable
The trim suit has the appearance of a body suit so it’s perfectly acceptable to wear around the house or in your backyard. The actual weights are located in the thigh, shoulder, chest, and upper arm so loose fitting clothes can equally fit over top of the suit. In effect, you’re wearing your gym as you don this training suit so do so as you see fit.

The real benefits of weighted training comes when you take off the vest after using it for awhile. You’ll notice more explosiveness, better endurance, and a fitter body just from doing what you’d normally do. If you have chores to do tomorrow, why not call 1-800-434-3344 and do them in a Reduxx TrimSuit? You can also contact us online.

Resistance training is a style of exercise that includes some form of weight added externally, causing your muscles to contract. There are different ways of practicing resistance training, many of which require you to hold weights such as dumbbells or barbells. With the Reduxx TrimSuit, the added weights are directly on your body, making it easier to practice resistance training.

Though the benefits of resistance training seem to be made up of weight loss and building up strength, there are so many other great benefits that embody resistance training. Other assets include:

- Stronger bones

- Increased mood

- Less risk of injury

- Reduced chance of chronic conditions

- Boost stamina

With the Reduxx TrimSuit acting as your resistance, you will be on your way to achieving these benefits and attaining a great lifestyle. The streamline design of the TrimSuit allows you to wear it comfortably underneath your clothes or as is. If you are a beginner to resistance training and nervous about jumping into a difficult and overwhelming exercise regime right away, wearing the Reduxx TrimSuit and doing daily tasks and chores is the perfect way to start. Just by adding additional resistance weight to your body, your muscles react immediately by contracting. This action tears microfibers in your muscles, a process called catabolism. Once the muscle fibers are broken down, your body begins to regenerate the muscles, or go through the process of anabolism. This process of repairing the muscles make them grow back stronger than they were prior to the exercise, which leads to muscle growth and improvement in strength.

Although wearing the resistance training suit is most effective with a balanced diet and regular exercise, the flexibility and freedom of the weighted suit allows for a wide range of uses. The TrimSuit by Reduxx is form fitted, allowing you to naturally go about your daily tasks while providing you with a workout and less risk of injury. As with all weight loss devices, consult your doctor before use. Call us at 1-800-434-3344 for more information about the Reduxx TrimSuit and its benefits or to place an order.

The Reduxx TrimSuit is a weighted vest designed to help individuals gain fitness and lose weight through increased resistance training. The Reduxx TrimSuit is an additional tool that helps men and women burn more calories and tone their bodies while doing normal every day activities, performing athletic training activities or going to the gym.

The TrimSuit is constructed from high quality neoprene fabric that’s designed to move with the wearer’s body so that it doesn’t hinder movement. The only resistance the wearer feels is the resistance of the weights as he or she moves their body. It’s also thin enough that it can be worn under normal every day clothing.

The Reduxx TrimSuit is a weighted body suit that is stylish and provides enough cover that it can be worn by itself around the house, at the gym or on a jog. The suit works by adding additional weight to the wearer’s body. The added weight translates into added resistance which means increased muscle activity.

Women’s Reduxx TrimSuits come with eight pounds of weights, and men’s Reduxx TrimSuits come with ten pounds of weights. The weights are spread across the shoulders, upper arms, chest and thighs to provide a total body resistance workout while performing normal everyday tasks such as vacuuming, folding clothes or performing yard work.

The Reduxx TrimSuit can also be worn while running or jogging to add extra resistance to cardio workouts. It can be worn to the gym to provide extra resistance while biking, using the treadmill, using the elliptical and while lifting weights.

The Reduxx TrimSuit works best with a balanced diet and a regular exercise regime. As with all weight loss devices, consult your doctor prior to use. For more information on the resistance training suit by Reduxx and its benefits or to place an order, call us at 1-800-434-3344.

The Eternal Beach Body Workout routine from Men’s Fitness Magazine has taken my workouts to new heights. T.R. Goodman’s article and exercise program has provided a great challenge to me. I decided to up the challenge by adding the Reduxx TrimSuit, a weighted exercise suit, to the workout routine and found it to be extremely beneficial.

Here’s what I did in my Reduxx TrimSuit, weighted exercise suit, today:

Eternal Beach Body III – Workout B

NOTE: Repeat Circuit (Exercises 1-10) for 35 minutes before moving on to 11 & 12

Exercise I: Squat Thrust | Reps: 10

Exercise II: Dumbbell Side Raise | Reps: 10

Exercise III: Standing One-Arm Dumbbell Row | Reps: 10 (Each Leg)

Exercise IV: Dumbbell Single-Leg Lunge on Bench | Reps: 10 (Each Leg)

Exercise V: Lying Dumbbell Triceps Extension | Reps: 10

Exercise VI: Squat Thrust | Reps: 10

Exercise VII: Barbell Curl | Reps: 10

Exercise VIII: Dumbbell Bench Press | Reps: 10

Exercise IX: Squat Thrust | Reps: 10

Exercise X: Dumbbell Side Raise | Reps: 10

End of Circuit

Exercise XI: Straight-Knee Static Bridge | Sets: 3 | Reps: Hold for 120 Seconds | Rest: 30-45 Seconds

Exercise XII: Straight-Knee Static Oblique |Sets: 3 | Reps: Hold for 120 Seconds | Rest: 30-45 Seconds

I don’t know if you noticed, but Squat Thrust was in the circuit 3 times. In 35 minutes, I was able to get through the circuit 3.2 times. That means I did 100 squat thrusts while wearing my weighted suit! My Fitbit indicated that I burned 1222 calories, and of course, with the TrimSuit on, that number is about 18% higher or 1442 calories burned in only 35 minutes.

The TrimSuit holds the weight on your body securely via the weighted suit. The resistance training suit is form fitted and allows natural movement providing less risk of injury. Check back for another workout and call 1-800-434-3344 to get your Reduxx TrimSuit to provide a powerful resistance training suit to your workout!

In my continuing posts regarding my Eternal Beach Body Workout routine from Men’s Fitness Magazine, I am going to cut a lot of the detailed directions for each exercise as you can refer to them if need be by viewing the other exercise blogs in the related posts section on the right. T.R. Goodman’s article and exercise program with the added resistance training provided by the Reduxx TrimSuit, a weighted exercise suit, has been extremely effective.

Here’s what I did in my Reduxx TrimSuit today:

Eternal Beach Body III – Workout A

NOTE: Repeat Circuit (Exercises 1-10) for 35 minutes before moving on to 11 & 12

Exercise I: Jumping Jack | Reps: 20

Exercise II: Pushup | Reps: 12

Exercise III: Single-Leg Lunge On Bench (while holding 2 – 25lb weights) | Reps: 12 (Each Leg)

Exercise IV: Dumbbell Curl (25lb) | Reps: 12

Exercise V: Squat Thrust – This is really tough with the TrimSuit’s additional 10lbs | Reps: 12

Exercise VI: Bent over Dumbbell Raise (25lb) | Reps: 12

Exercise VII: Squat (50lb) | Reps: 12

Exercise VIII: Lateral Bench Lunge – Again, very tough with 10 extra pounds on your body | Reps: 12 (Each Leg)

Exercise IX: Jump Rope | Reps: Jump for 60 Seconds

Exercise X: Dumbbell Kickback (25lb) | Reps: 12

End of Circuit

Exercise XI: Swiss-Ball Crunch | Sets: 3 | Reps: 20 | Rest: 30-45 Seconds

Exercise XII: Swiss-Ball Side Crunch | Sets: 3 | Reps: 20 | Rest: 30-45 Seconds

In 35 minutes, I was able to get through the circuit 3 ½ times. My Fitbit indicated that I burned 1130 calories, and of course, with the TrimSuit on, that number is about 18% higher or 1334 calories burned in only 35 minutes.

The TrimSuit holds the weight on your body securely via the weighted suit. The resistance training suit is form fitted and allows natural movement providing less risk of injury.

Virtually everyone these days is trying to get in shape, but with all of the different exercise programs, diet plans and gyms to use, it can be confusing to know what to do and how to do it. On top of that, busy schedules often prevent people from working out, and this can lead to many people giving up on their workout goals. Thankfully, for those trying to lose weight and get in shape while performing everyday tasks, the Reduxx TrimSuit is here to help.

The Reduxx TrimSuit is a weighted suit which can help with resistance training, virtually anytime, anywhere. A resistance training suit offers all of the benefits of a traditional resistance workout, but without the long hours at the gym or confusing workout routines. Essentially, these suits work by adding extra weight to your body while you walk, have a cup of coffee, work in your garden or perform any other type of everyday task. Because of the extra weight, your muscles will have to work harder, and this can lead to more defined muscle tone, weight loss and stronger, healthier muscles.

If you do happen to frequent a gym, these types of suits can help you to increase your workout potential by adding resistance. A resistance workout is often recommended for those who are seeking to add to their cardio routine and wearing a weighted resistance suit or weighted vest while jogging or running can often help to burn extra calories. In fact, no matter what your workout or weight loss goals are, the Reduxx TrimSuit offers all of these benefits and more. Of course, before you begin any type of exercise routine or diet, it’s important to speak with your doctor to determine what will work best for you, as well as to address any health concerns you may have.

For more information on the Reduxx TrimSuit, or to find out more benefits of this amazing device, call 1-800-434-3344 today!

In my last post, I began relaying the Eternal Beach Body Workout from Men’s Fitness Magazine and how you can add resistance training to the workout while wearing a weighted exercise suit like the Reduxx TrimSuit. I have added my own comments regarding what I have found in my personal workout with the TrimSuit and this great exercise program from the T.R. Goodman article. Because the TrimSuit holds the weight on your body securely in place via the suit no matter how you move, the resistance training suit is perfectly designed for a workout of this type. The directions below are from Workout 2/Week 1. I recommend you try this workout with your TrimSuit today!

From the Eternal Beach Body Workout article by T.R. Goodman in Men’s Fitness Magazine:

Directions for Phase I [My Edits and Additions in Bold Italic]

FREQUENCY: Perform each workout in numerical order with a day of rest between each. The program includes three workouts per week. Each workout is a circuit that may include exercises from previous workouts but the sequence will be different.

HOW TO DO IT: Perform the exercises as straight sets, completing all the prescribed sets for an exercise before moving on.

WEIGHT: Unless otherwise stated, use the heaviest weight that allows you to complete all the prescribed repetitions for each set. For most of these exercises, you’ll need to be conservative. Focus on keeping perfect form and completing each rep without momentum.

Workout 2/Week 1 of our 12-Week Series

1. External Rotation on Bench

Sets: 2 Reps: 12 Rest: 45 Seconds

Hold a light dumbbell or weight plate in your left hand and lie on a bench on your right side. Bend your elbow 90 degrees and allow your arm to rest against your left side, your left hand over your abs. Keeping your elbow against your side, rotate your forearm toward the ceiling. Reverse the motion to return to the starting position. That’s one rep. Complete 12 reps, switch arms and repeat. The weighted exercise suit adds additional resistance to this exercise with the placement of weights against the upper arm.

2. Wide-Grip Lat Pulldown

Sets: 2 Reps: 12 Rest: 45 Seconds

Sit at a lat-pulldown station and grab the handle outside shoulder width. Pull the bar down to your collarbone, and then reverse the motion to return to the starting position (but don’t allow the weight you’re using to rest on the stack). That’s one rep. The upper body weights in the TrimSuit force you to keep your core tight in order to keep your form during this exercise.

3. One-Arm Lat Pulldown

Sets: 2 Reps: 12 Rest: 45 Seconds

Attach a D-handle to the pulley of a pulldown station and sit facing the machine. Grab the handle with one hand with your arm extended overhead so that you feel tension on the cable. Pull the handle straight down and to the side until your elbow ends up at your side. Reverse the motion to return to the starting position. That’s one rep. Perform 12 reps, and then switch arms and repeat. Similar to the previous exercise, your weighted suit will cause you to tighten your core in order to maintain form throughout the exercise.

4. One-Arm Cable Row, Opposite Arm/Leg

Sets: 2 Reps: 10 Rest: 45 Seconds

Attach a D-handle to the low pulley of a cable station and sit facing the machine with your left leg against the foot plate and your right leg bent. Grab the handle with your right hand and allow the tension on the cable to pull your body forward, stretching your lat, and then row the handle to the outside of your right hip. Reverse the motion, allowing your right side to rotate toward the cable and stretch. That’s one rep. Perform 10 reps, and then switch sides and repeat. The TrimSuit’s weights positioned on your arms, shoulders and chest will all play a factor in intensifying this workout.

5. Stiff-Legged Deadlift

Sets: 2 Reps: 10 Rest: 45 Seconds

Hold a barbell in front of your thighs with palms facing you. Keeping your lower back in its natural arch, bend at the hips and slightly at the knees and lower your torso until it’s nearly parallel to the floor. Extend your hips and knees to return to the starting position. That’s one rep. The weighted suit works all muscle groups in the arms, shoulders, back and legs in this exercise.

6. Straight-Bar Cable Curl

Sets: 2 Reps: 10 Rest: 45 Seconds

Attach a straight bar to the low pulley of a cable station and grab it with an underhand, shoulder-width grip. Keeping your elbows close to your sides, curl the bar up. Reverse the motion to return to the starting position. That’s one rep. The weights in the suit cause a stabilizing of your core and the lift in the shoulders keeping them up and straight.

7. Seated Dumbbell Curl

Sets: 2 Reps: 10 Rest: 45 Seconds

Set an adjustable bench to an upright angle, grab a dumbbell in each hand, and sit on the bench. Keeping your elbows braced against your sides, curl the weights, and then lower them back to the starting position. That’s one rep. Again, the Reduxx TrimSuit forces straight posture and the shoulder weights cause resistance while keeping your shoulders straight.

8. Bent-Knee Hip Extension

Sets: 2 Reps: 10 Rest: 45 Seconds

Set an adjustable bench to a 30- to 45-degree incline, grab a dumbbell in each hand, and sit on the bench. Keeping your elbows braced against your sides, curl the weights, and then lower them back to the starting position. That’s one rep. The placement of the leg weights in our weighted exercise suit makes this an excellent exercise for your hip flexors.

9. Rollouts (High Groove)

Sets: 2 Reps: 15 Rest: 45 Seconds

Lie on your right side with your right leg straight and your left hip and knee bent 90 degrees, suspended over the floor. You can place your left palm on the floor for support. Keeping your right hip bone in contact with the floor, rotate your hips to your right and extend your left hip so that you’re reaching with the left knee, trying to touch it to the floor without losing contact between your right hip bone and the floor. Reverse the motion to return to the starting position. That’s one rep. Complete 15 reps, and then switch sides and repeat. This exercise is enhanced by the upper thigh weights on the TrimSuit.

10. Bent-Knee Static Oblique

Sets: 2 Reps: Hold for 90 Seconds Rest: 45 Seconds

Support yourself on your right elbow and forearm and bend your knees 90 degrees and rest them on the floor. Your body should form a straight line. Hold the position for 90 seconds, and then switch sides and repeat. That’s one set. As in number 8 above, this exercise will be very intense because of the TrimSuit’s placement of all weights across chest, shoulders, arms and legs.

11. Swiss-Ball Crunch

Sets: 2 Reps: 20 Rest: 45 Seconds

Lie back on a Swiss ball so that your hips are supported and allow your abs to stretch. Tuck your chin to your chest and crunch your rib cage toward your pelvis. Lower your body back to the starting position. That’s one rep. I don’t know if you have ever done Swiss-ball crunches, but try throwing in extra weight around your shoulders, chest and upper arms. This exercise is a serious ab and core burner because you have to lift and keep your balance at the same time. The Reduxx TrimSuit gives you much more benefit that doing this exercise without.

You have completed Workout 2/Week 1 wearing your Reduxx TrimSuit. The workout is relatively intense even without the weighted exercise suit. Adding the TrimSuit with targeted resistance to specific muscle groups provides more benefit than performing the exercises alone. Check back for Workout 3/Week 1 and call 1-800-434-3344 to get your Reduxx TrimSuit to provide a powerful resistance training suit to your workout!

I have worn my Reduxx Trimsuit in so many different situations and I am always looking for new workouts I can perform while wearing a weighted exercise suit. I believe I have found a series of workouts perfectly matched for the TrimSuit. The program is called the Eternal Beach Body Workout. I found the program in Men’s Fitness Magazine a few years ago when I received my first suit (a proto-type). I trained with the program wearing my TrimSuit for the recommended 12 weeks and saw incredible results. I had not experienced results from any type of workout or exercise since my late teens and early 20’s (more than 20 years ago). I feel so strongly and am so excited about these results, I feel I should “re-share” the Men’s Fitness Magazine exercise program with you adding in my own adjustments for the resistance involved when wearing the TrimSuit weight suit.

Workout 1/Week 1 of our 12-Week Series

2. Lying Rotators on Bench

Sets: 2 Reps: 12 Rest: 45 Seconds

Hold a light dumbbell or weight plate in your left hand and lie on a bench on your right side. Allow your arm to hang down to the floor, so it’s draped over your torso and the back of your hand faces away from you. Leading with the heel of your hand, raise your arm straight up and overhead until it’s perpendicular to the floor, and then return to the starting position. That’s one rep. Complete 12 reps, and then switch arms and repeat. The TrimSuit adds resistance from upper arm weight and partially from the shoulder weights.

3. Lying Superman with Alternating Arms

Sets: 2 Reps: 12 Rest: 45 Seconds

Elevate a flat bench with some weight plates or boxes so that when you lie facedown on it, your arms won’t touch the floor. Hold a light dumbbell or weight plate in each hand and lie facedown on the bench. Raise both arms behind you so that they are close to your sides. Now raise one arm straight up in front of you until it’s in line with your torso, but hold the other arm where it is (you should look like Superman flying through the air). Lower that arm back to your side, and then raise the opposite arm. That’s one rep. The placement of arm weights in the Reduxx TrimSuit enhances this exercise without adding additional strain on joints.

4. Bench Dip

Sets: 2 Reps: 12 Rest: 45 Seconds

Place your hands behind you on a bench and rest your feet on another bench or box in front of you. Bend your elbows and lower your body until your upper arms are parallel to the floor. Push yourself back up to the starting position. That’s one rep. Wearing the Reduxx TrimSuit adds almost the entire 10 pounds to this particular exercise.

5. Triceps Pushup

Sets: 2 Reps: 10 Rest: 45 Seconds

Attach a rope handle to the top pulley of a cable station. Hold an end of the rope in each hand, and tuck your elbows tight against your sides (this should put tension on the cable). Without allowing your elbows to move forward, squeeze your triceps and straighten your arms. Reverse the motion to return to the starting position. That’s one rep. Wearing the TrimSuit causes you to tighten your core during this exercise to avoid bending over or losing form.

6. Bent-Knee Hip Rotation

Sets: 2 Reps: 12 Rest: 45 Seconds

Lie on your right side and bend your hips and knees 90 degrees. Without moving your hips, rotate your left leg toward the ceiling (it should look somewhat like a dog raising his leg at a fire hydrant). Reverse the motion to return to the starting position. That’s one rep. Complete 12 reps, and then switch legs and repeat. This exercise is especially enhanced by the weights positioned on your thighs by the TrimSuit.

8. Bent-Knee Static Bridge

Sets: 2 Reps: Hold for 90 Seconds Rest: 45 Seconds

Get into pushup position, and then bend your elbows 90 degrees so that your forearms are resting on the floor. Bend your knees as well so that they rest on the floor to support you (raise your feet in the air if you want to make the exercise more challenging). Your body should form a straight line. Hold the position for 90 seconds. That’s one set. This exercise will be very intense because of the TrimSuit’s placement of all weights across chest, shoulders, arms and legs.

You have completed Workout 1/Week 1 wearing your Reduxx TrimSuit. The workout is relatively intense even without the weighted exercise suit.

I wear mine on cardio days at the gym (of course) while riding the stationary bike. A 45 minute bike ride at 16 mph while wearing the weighted suit is like a 1 hour 15 minute ride without the suit.

Some days, to mix up my resistance training workout a bit, I wear my TrimSuit while working through the P90 exercise videos I purchased a long time ago. The workout is really great and works perfectly with the weighted suit. You will really feel the burn.

I’m always working on something around my house and I like to wear my TrimSuit under my clothes while working on the lawn, the pool, cleaning the garage or even the attic. Climbing that ladder in the TrimSuit while holding heavy boxes over your head turns into a very intense workout.

When my wife and I go for a walk around our neighborhood (2.5 mile trek), I always put on the TrimSuit under my clothes. It doesn’t make the walk too difficult but it does give me more benefit from the walk.

Practicing golf at the driving range or even playing a few holes. Swinging a club while wearing the suit causes an effect of “muscle memory,” so that when you come back without the suit on, your swing is stronger and more controlled at the higher velocity. I’ve gained 30 yards on my drive just by practicing in my TrimSuit.

I hope these ideas are helpful to you in your pursuit of fitness and health. I also want to mention that Reduxx Trimsuit is on Facebook at Reduxx TrimSuit and on Google+ at +Reduxx TrimSuit. Please visit one or both of our pages and “Like” us or add us to your Google+ Circles. We would love to hear how you use your TrimSuit and keep up with your progress. We love our product and we hope you love it, too.

Sincerely,
Tom Coleman, Managing Director

Many people respond by adopting the latest fad diet to shed those extra pounds before warmed weather arrives, but these are difficult to follow and can cause side effects, including weight rebound. The sure way to get rid of the holiday bulge in time for summer is with exercise, and the Reduxx TrimSuit can help this effort along.

Adding Resistance to Everyday Activities

Whether it is walking the dogs in the morning or those frequent trips to the office copier, you are burning calories. The ticket to weight loss is to burn more than is consumed in the day. One way to help is by eating fewer calories, but restrictive diets are hard to follow and can be bad for your health. Cutting back is easier, and it is also easy to increase the amount of calories burned during the daily routine. The weighted suit has the extra resistance built in, so burning extra calories is a foregone conclusion.

More Powerful Exercise

Those weekly workouts at the gym can take precious time away from socializing with friends and spending quality time with the family. With the aid of the resistance training suit, you will burn more calories and build lean muscle faster with the same amount of time on the treadmill. When it comes to resistance training, those anaerobic workouts will pack more of a punch as well. Whether for endurance or strength, the extra weight added to pivotal points of the body will require a corresponding increase in muscle workload.

The suit is conveniently made to be worn either alone or under clothing with none the wiser. This makes the Reduxx TrimSuit perfect for augmenting workouts and turning the daily routine into an exercise program. The whole suit or just the weighted vest can be chosen for different activities and workouts.
